In 2014, Williams racing announced a title sponsorship deal with Martini. The Martini brand has had a longstanding relationship with motorsport, with the creation of Martini Racing in 1968, and has also sponsored other teams such as Brabham, Lotus and Ferrari in the past. The addition of the Martini branding became synonymous with the Williams F1® cars during their partnership, making the cars driven by the likes of Felipe Massa, Valtteri Bottas, Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin stand out on track.
